The U.S. Senate's two parties are close to reaching a consensus on the text of the GENIUS Act.
According to Gate.io News bot, crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett reports that a bipartisan group of U.S. senators is in the final stages of negotiating the text of the GENIUS Act bill. The Senate plans to complete the voting process for the bill before the Memorial Day recess and is currently discussing the restoration of the bill's consideration. The speed of the bill's progress is directly related to the outcome of the procedural agreement negotiations with the Democrats.
