Coin in Chinese means coin, which usually operates on its own independent Blockchain. Common coins include BTC Bitcoin, ETH Ether, SOL, etc.
The Chinese term for Token means a token or certificate, which usually does not have its own native blockchain but is issued based on a public blockchain. Common tokens include SHIB Shiba Inu coin, UNI, FIL, etc.
Typically, Token coins provide more functionalities than Coin coins.
Issuing a Token is much simpler than issuing a Coin, but the development ceiling for a Coin is higher.
Currently, the terms Token and Coin are often used interchangeably. This article introduces the theoretical differences between the two, but in practical application, there is no need to nitpick.
