Netflix plans to produce a series about the FTX collapse, with Oscar-winning screenwriter Graham Moore possibly taking on the adaptation work.
According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on May 7, as reported by BeInCrypto, Netflix is planning to produce a drama series based on the 2022 FTX collapse.
According to reports, Oscar-winning screenwriter Graham Moore may take on the adaptation work for the script. Netflix plans to use a love story as a narrative framework to showcase the rise and fall of FTX.
Currently, Julia Garner is in talks to portray Caroline Ellison, the former CEO of Alameda Research, while Evan Peters may play FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, although his involvement has not yet been finalized. Julia Garner has won three Emmy Awards for her role in the popular Netflix series "Ozark," and her performance as digital con artist Anna Delvey has also received critical acclaim.
Currently, the project is still in the early stages of development and has not signed any formal contracts. Industry insiders point out that major events in the cryptocurrency industry frequently spark interest in adaptations, but some projects may fall into "development hell" and ultimately struggle to be realized.
