In fact, nothing is impossible. After falling so much, a rebound is just at those few levels: 0.382, 0.5, 0.618, 0.8, 0.886. It's very normal; you can only judge it in conjunction with other situations and try it out. I think there's no need to resist hard. Once it surpasses 0.382, the rebound will be pretty fierce. So I shorted Ether at 30; if I lose 10 points, I'll wait to short again around 60.
