The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC ) announced a delay in making a decision on Grayscale's application to convert the Ethereum Trust into a Spot ETF, extending the review period to January 25, 2024. Previously, the SEC had repeatedly delayed decisions on Bitcoin Spot ETFs, and the market generally expects the SEC to make final rulings on multiple Bitcoin ETF applications by January 10.
