The U.S. Congress is currently reviewing the "2025 Veterans Affairs Distributed Ledger Innovation Act" (H.R. 3455), which aims to promote the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to study the application of Blockchain technology in the claims process to enhance transparency, Traceability, and drop the risk of fraud and abuse. The bill passed the House Veterans Affairs Subcommittee hearing on June 11 and is awaiting a vote by the full House. If passed, the VA will submit a feasibility study and pilot proposal report within a year. (CryptoSlate)
