I signed up for a one-on-one tennis class this weekend 🎾, and saw many kids practicing on the court. I couldn't help but feel, oh, I really envy these kids.
Turning my head to think, wait a minute, what am I envious of? Didn't I also enjoy quality education when I was young?
When I was 4 years old, my family bought a piano worth more than 10,000 and hired a one-on-one piano teacher. Back then, it was 80 yuan per hour~
When I was 7 years old, my family hired a one-on-one English tutor.
I can have today, I should thank my parents, what am I envious of others for!
Although my parents were unable to provide later on and the family faced some changes, they did not mistreat me when I was a child.
Many crypto influencers say they came from rural areas and that their families were very poor when they were young. Now that they have made money, they work hard out of fear of returning to poverty because they were afraid of being poor in the past.
As for me, I was born in the city and have never truly experienced poverty. I've lived a privileged life since I was young. This is probably why I find it difficult to work particularly hard for money.
People often easily forget the things they have and then envy others. Realizing this is a significant progress for me.
Be grateful for what you once had, complain less.
