This appointment requires Senate approval. "Moore has consistently argued that the trade, immigration, and deregulation policies of the Trump administration are all disinflationary," JPMorgan analysts led by Jay Barry wrote in a report released later on Thursday. "To some extent, this supports a more dovish Fed policy, which also supports the steepening curve seen this afternoon."
