The mentioned BOB project is quite interesting, claiming to give Bitcoin the wings of DeFi. As a hybrid Layer-2 network, it grips the stability of Bitcoin with its left hand and borrows the agility of Ethereum with its right. It recently just secured $21 million in funding, which indicates a rhythm of big moves ahead.

The data is even more astonishing: the current TVL has reached 220 million USD, with over 500,000 users and trading volume surpassing 33 million transactions. The ecosystem is running much faster than expected. The key point is its BitVM bridge technology, which allows native BTC to directly enter the DeFi battlefield without the need for wrapped tokens, making it safe and convenient. This really hits the pain point.

I heard that the team is still integrating zero-knowledge proofs, and the scalability and privacy protection need to reach another level. The mainnet launch at the end of the year is expected to be a big event. It feels like this project is opening a new door for the Bitcoin ecosystem, revitalizing a massive dormant value, and I am looking forward to what comes next~
