Breakeven strategies after being trapped

1. Active Breakeven
Timely stop-loss: If you buy incorrectly, especially if you chase high after a large price increase, you must make a decisive decision and cut your losses early to protect your wallet. There are many market opportunities, as long as the funds are still there, the chance to turn things around may arise at any time.

2. Tied Up Breakeven
Lying flat and waiting: If your entire position is trapped and funds are tight, and you are reluctant to cut losses, then it might be a good idea to choose to lie flat and wait. At this time, excessive anxiety and thinking may not be beneficial, and could instead interfere with your decision-making.

Remember, being trapped is not the end of the world. The key is to calmly analyze, find the right timing, and act decisively. If one method doesn't work, try changing your approach; you may discover new opportunities and possibilities.
