Ethereum developers agreed on the full content of the upcoming “Dencun upgrade” on Thursday, CoinDesk reported. The upgrade, expected later this year, includes five Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) aimed at adding more storage for data and reducing fees. At the heart of this upgrade is EIP-4844, which will reduce the gas cost of L2 rollups by providing more space for "blobs" to scale the blockchain. The other four proposals are EIP-1153, EIP-4788, EIP-5656 and EIP-6780. There's no firm date for the upgrade yet, but it's expected to happen by the end of 2023. #新闻frontier# #Content Star#
