On June 9th, the blockchain data analysis company Bitrace issued a document stating that between May 2022 and May 2023, the cryptocurrency exchange BKEX hot wallet was associated with more than 570 million USDT at risk. Among them, the five main TRC20-USDT fund addresses of BKEX directly received funds of 4.99 million USDT from risk addresses, including 3.61 million USDT from online gambling platforms and gamblers, and 930,000 USDT from illegal four-party payment platforms, accounting for the total 2.6% of the transferred funds.
At the same time, in the past year, more than 35,824 risk addresses have transferred more than 568 million risk USDT to BKEX’s first layer of unknown risk user addresses, including 505 million USDT from online gambling platforms and 30.91 million USDT from illegal four-party payment platforms .
As previously reported, BKEX issued an announcement saying that due to the recent suspected money laundering of platform users' funds, BKEX is currently cooperating with the police in obtaining evidence and suspending coin withdrawals.
