According to a report from IT House on June 15, Google recently announced a series of new search updates, covering travel planning, clothing shopping, and identifying skin abnormalities. Now using Google Lens, users only need to point the camera at their skin to take pictures, or directly upload the photos they have taken, and Google will find visually similar images to help users identify possible skin diseases. Google has also launched a simulated try-on function. Users can now search among different retailers based on filters such as style, color and pattern. The tool can show the effect of the same top on different models. The program utilizes a generative artificial intelligence technique to show how clothes fit and how fabrics look. Currently, this feature is only available when purchasing tops at select retailers such as H&_M, Everlane, Anthropologie, and Loft.
