According to PANews news on June 28, according to CoinDesk, Warner Music Group (WMG) is cooperating with Polygon Labs to launch a blockchain music accelerator, aiming to promote the development of blockchain music projects and DApps on the Polygon network. The accelerator will focus on areas including artist fan communities, building a decentralized music production and distribution system, innovating ticketing solutions, exploring music-related merchandise and digital or physical collectibles, and combining music with interactive technology and games. Ideal applicants for the program are "companies and entrepreneurs operating at the intersection of music, technology and Web3". Selected projects will receive funding from WMG and Polygon Labs, and will be eligible for mentoring and networking opportunities with music and blockchain industry experts.
