PANews news on July 10, according to Decrypt, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin said on Twitter Space this week, "If we want Bitcoin to be more than just a payment method, it needs scaling solutions like Plasma or ZK Rollup. And both of these schemes have been tested on Ethereum.” He also stated that Optimism and Arbitrum are two successful rollups that can serve as case studies for Bitcoin. Buterin also tried to find commonalities between the two ecosystems of Ethereum and Bitcoin. He pointed out that both blockchains have immutability, while they both have L1 privacy issues. Ethereum has been experimenting with several scaling solutions over the years, with the latest proposal being EIP-4844, which introduces blobs, enabling up to 100,000 transactions per second.
