According to the data, as of June 1, there were approximately 21,300 monthly active open source developers in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Since June 2022, the number of developers in this field has dropped by 22%.
The Developer Report estimates that approximately 7,700 new developers have left the field since June 2022. Emerging developers who have been in the industry for up to two years increased by 1,650, while established developers with more than two years of experience in the cryptocurrency space increased by 150.
