Odaily Planet Daily News Mina development team O(1) Labs tweeted that the RFP (Foundation Task) submitted to the Optimism Foundation on implementing zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) for OP-based blockchains has been adopted.

In the future, O(1) Labs will introduce Kimichi, the proof system currently applied to Mina, into the Optimism ecosystem to protect the transaction security of OP Mainnet and other blockchains based on OP-stack, which may open the door to interoperability between Ethereum and Mina.
According to previous news, the Optimism Foundation released a new season of RFP, hoping to introduce zero-knowledge proofs for OP blockchains, so as to ensure safe and low-latency cross-chain communication between L1 and L2, and between OP blockchains.
