DOJ Doesn't 'Intend to Proceed' With Campaign Finance Charge Against Sam Bankman-Fried

The U.S. Department of Justice has dropped one of the charges against Sam Bankman-Fried, citing treaty obligations with the Bahamas. The charge in question was related to unlawful campaign contributions. The DOJ is awaiting clarification from the Bahamas government regarding the charge's inclusion in Bankman-Fried's extradition documents. Bankman-Fried, a major donor to the Democratic party, also faces allegations of witness tampering.
