Several AIGC apps have been removed from the Apple App Store, approaching regulators: including issues such as data collection and use that are not standardized enough

According to the "Kechuangban Daily" report on August 1, several AIGC-related apps, including Xunfei Spark, were removed from the Apple App Store in the early hours of this morning. The reporter learned from an authoritative person close to the regulatory department that the main reason for the removal of relevant apps is the "Interim Measures for the Management of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services" that will be implemented on August 15. The data collection and use of the removed apps are not yet standardized enough. , it will take some time to re-launch. According to the Apple review information received by relevant App developers, Deep Synthesis Technology (DST) and generative artificial intelligence services (including ChatGPT) have corresponding regulatory measures, and DST must meet the licensing requirements for operating in China, including obtaining a license. According to the review, the removed app was related to ChatGPT, but did not obtain the required license to operate in China.
