According to a Bloomberg report on August 1, Laser Digital, a Dubai-based digital asset subsidiary of Nomura Securities, has obtained a Dubai cryptocurrency license, allowing it to provide virtual asset broker-dealers and investment management services locally. Laser Digital said it plans to launch over-the-counter trading services and digital asset investment products for institutional investors in the coming months.
