Jinse Finance reported that the AI quantum technology platform SandboxAQ launched the open source framework "Sandwich", which aims to reshape contemporary cryptography management. According to the company, the platform is designed to drive organizations towards crypto agility. It supports multiple languages (C/C++, Rust, Python, and Go) and operating systems (MacOS, Linux), giving developers the flexibility to work in their preferred environment and easy access to several popular cryptographic libraries (OpenSSL, BoringSSL), including NIST's new post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithm.
The framework's abstractions provide programming flexibility and shield developers from the complexities of cryptographic library usage. Once integrated, the Sandwich framework enables developers to quickly and easily update their cryptography via an API, eliminating the need to rewrite code.
