Odaily Planet Daily News Robinhood signed an agreement with the Federal Marshals Service (USMS) to repurchase shares from SBF's Emergent Fidelity Technologies for $605.7 million. After FTX and Emergent filed for bankruptcy protection last year, Robinhood's shares were seized and subsequently transferred to the custody of the U.S. government. (Reuters)


According to Odaily's report at the beginning of the year, the US Department of Justice seized more than 55 million Robinhood shares held by Sam Bankman-Fried and his FTX co-founder Gary Wang through the holding company Emergent Fidelity Technologies. The shares had been held in an account at British brokerage ED&F Man.
