Golden Finance reports that Google has granted partial access to its upcoming conversational artificial intelligence product. Google is expected to offer Gemini, an online portal through Google Cloud Vertex AI, providing developers with access to artificial intelligence models and other tools.
Google originally released Gemini in May 2023. Although the model is still being trained, it said it saw multimodal capabilities, meaning Gemini has the ability to handle different types of inputs. Google also offers AI services to consumers through Bard, an AI chatbot primarily used to generate written content. The company's currently available artificial intelligence model, PaLM2, is the basis for Bard and certain other services.
