PANews reported on September 19 that according to Bloomberg, Edward Tilly, CEO of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (Cboe), resigned due to failure to publicly disclose personal relationships with colleagues. Cboe has appointed current board member Fredric Tomczyk as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately. Tilly will be allowed to retain a portion of its outstanding restricted stock. Cboe has added a new asset class, digital holdings, through cryptocurrency firm Eris.
