US presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy plans to release "comprehensive encryption policy framework"

US Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy spoke at the Mainnet encryption conference hosted by Messari on Wednesday and said he planned to release a "comprehensive encryption policy framework" before Thanksgiving. During a “fireside chat” with Messari CEO Ryan Selkis, Ramaswamy spoke about the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) recent rulings and cryptocurrency’s role as a disruptor of traditional finance, laying out a scathing indictment of the SEC. Ramaswamy is second to Trump in the race for the nomination and ahead of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, according to a CNN poll released on Wednesday. (CoinDesk)
