Golden Finance reported that Rostin Behnam, chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), emphasized the need to regulate the field of decentralized finance (DeFi) in a speech, likening the situation to that of an unlicensed doctor. CFTC Enforcement Director Ian Mc Ginley said in September that the existence of unregulated DeFi trading platforms clearly threatens the markets and customers regulated and protected by the CFTC.
