Jack Dorsey launches his own Bitcoin (BTC) cold wallet

According to Forbes, Twitter co-founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey released his own bitcoin hardware storage device, BitKey, which he resigned long before Elon Musk acquired the platform and began rebranding it as X. It has the shape of a small hexagon. Dorsey's Block launches BTC wallet
Dorsey is a well-known Bitcoin evangelist who works to expand the adoption of Bitcoin, believing it can change the world. Dorsey doesn't believe in other cryptocurrencies, not even Ethereum, which he has repeatedly criticized as centralized. He even urged the Apple team and CEO Tim Cook to integrate Bitcoin into Apple's products.
The wallet was created by Block, a company co-founded by Dorsey, who went to the company after stepping down as Twitter's CEO. Dorsey has been an outspoken advocate of self-custody of Bitcoin and other digital currencies, and he has repeatedly stated that his company, Block, intends to create a hardware storage device that excludes any intermediaries that own cryptocurrencies, such as cryptocurrency exchanges.
Many remember the huge crash of the FTX giant in early November last year, when the company's customers suddenly lost access to billions of dollars in cryptocurrency due to the mismanagement of former CEO Sam Bankman-Frid.
Forbes says Block's wallet is aimed at a wide customer base and is affordable. Currently, cryptocurrency cold wallets sell for $50 per unit and up to $200, depending on the manufacturer.
