In the area of AI, complete the mapping between the AI Risk Management Framework of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) of the US Department of Commerce and the AI validation of the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore; Establish a bilateral AI Governance Working Group focused on advancing shared principles for safe, trusted, and responsible AI innovation to complement the U.S. Voluntary AI Commitment and potential multilateral AI Code of Conduct; Expand collaboration between the National Science Foundation and the Singapore Association for Artificial Intelligence (AISG) through joint research and education funding opportunities, with a focus on trusted and secure AI systems; Explore reciprocal certification programs for AI professionals in the U.S. and Singapore, building on shared standards, tests, and benchmarks.
