According to the Q3 2023 Mac Apps report released by app subscription service Setapp on Monday, nearly 50% of Mac developers have integrated AI elements into their apps, IT House reported on October 17. The report surveyed 1,241 Mac users and tracked the preferences of Mac users in 2023, including AI adoption, support for M1/M2 chips, and daily usage habits of Mac users. According to the report, the average Mac user in the United States installs 51 applications and uses 15 applications per day. The report highlights browser applications, Microsoft and Google Office tools, and Adobe software as the most commonly used and important applications, along with productivity applications such as Spark, Zoom, 1 Password and Slack. The report highlights that a significant number of Mac developers (44%) have already incorporated AI/ML models into their applications, while 28% are currently working to incorporate them. This shows a growing recognition of AI's potential to transform the user experience by providing additional assistance and enhancing the overall functionality of the application.
