PANews reported on November 7 that according to Blockworks, the on-chain privacy protocol RAILGUN will launch a "Private Certificate of Innocence" (PPOI) tool to enable DeFi users to remain anonymous while proving that they have not interacted with malicious actors. The tool is designed to allow users to cryptographically prove the legitimate origin of their tokens by using zero-knowledge proof technology without revealing any information about their balances or viewing keys. PPOI uses a single data source to look at the masking of public addresses and determine if these funds are coming from undesirable sources, such as hacks or exploits.
