PANews reported on December 18 that according to CCTV News Comprehensive Reuters and AFP, the European Union announced on the 18th local time that it had filed a "formal infringement lawsuit" against the social media company "X" (formerly known as Twitter) on the grounds that the company was suspected of violating its obligations to combat illegal content and false information.
