According to CoinDesk, the liquidity staking protocol LDO community expressed displeasure by selecting Wormhole as a competing project for the wstETH bridge launch preliminary agenda vote. Layer Zero had previously sparked controversy in October for launching the wstETH bridge without Raido community approval. In the vote, Wormhole received 81.13% of the votes, Chainlink CCTP received 14.12%, while Layer Zero garnered only 4.75%.
