Over the past 24 hours, the Grayscale GBTC ETF sold a record 20,803.83 BTC for $867.98 million, marking the largest decline in GBTC's holdings since it became a publicly traded ETF on January 11, 2024.
However, Grayscale's GBTC is the largest Bitcoin ETF with 502,712.60 BTC in its reserves, worth $21.10 billion.
In total, GBTC has traded 114,367.39 BTC, equivalent to $4.77 billion, since January 12, 2024. The fund also saw significant trading activity, dominating the market on Friday with $659.74 million out of a total trading volume of $1.68 billion across all ten spot Bitcoin ETFs.
GBTC has led the market for all 11 trading sessions since the launch of the new Bitcoin spot ETFs. The highest trading volume was recorded on January 11, $2.29 billion, the lowest was on January 25, with a volume of $501.49 million.
To date, the total trading volume of all ten ETFs was $25.36 billion, with GBTC transaction volume amounting to $16.15 billion, representing 63.68% of the total volume since January 11, 2024.
In general, GreySacale poured 114 thousand BTC worth $4.77 billion into exchange books in two weeks.
