According to a CoinDesk report dated September 18, eight projects have established the Decentralized Artificial Intelligence Society (DAIS) to counter the domination of technology giants in the AI industry. Former CoinDesk Chief Content Officer Michael Casey serves as the president of DAIS, and the eight founding members of DAIS include CETI AI, FIL Foundation, Bloq, Hypercycle, Morpheus, Hemi, Odyssey, and Lumerin. The goal of DAIS is to address four major issues in the field of Decentralized AI: providing funding, creating AI regulations, promoting Decentralized AI, and developing distributed learning models by algorithms. Casey emphasized the control of data, computing power, and regulatory institutions by existing technology giants, stating the need to promote the development of Decentralized AI.
