David Zimmerman, a DeFi analyst at K33, said that SUI could soon become a strong competitor to Solana. SUI's performance compared to Solana, combined with its architecture and upcoming console releases, could make it a leading contender in the 'alternative L1' category. Solana often competes for attention in L1 wars, but SOL/ETH has grown by 6% since August, while SUI/SOL has grown by 115% over the same period.
While the analyst acknowledged that Sui's recent outperformance could be largely attributed to broader 'mispricing', David Zimmerman said there were 'definitely' valid factors supporting Sui's recent price increase.
