It is reported that 'ShenYu' is a well-known Cryptocurrency investor and blockchain project manager in China, with a large-scale asset under management. This theft incident occurred in one of the ETH Wallet Addresses managed by him. The Hacker exploited a vulnerability in the Smart Contract to carry out the attack. Specifically, the Hacker bypassed the security checks of the Wallet through carefully constructed transactions, successfully withdrawing the funds. After the incident, 'ShenYu' quickly took countermeasures, including cooperating with exchanges and security organizations to trace the flow of funds, and attempting to recover the losses through legal means. However, due to the Anonymity and irreversibility of blockchain transactions, recovering the stolen funds is not easy. This is not the first time such a blockchain asset theft incident has occurred. Several years ago, the Japanese Cryptocurrency exchange Mt.Gox experienced a large-scale Hacker attack, resulting in the disappearance of hundreds of millions of dollars in customer funds.
