According to Farside Investors data, the total inflow of US <a href="/price/bitcoin-btc" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">Bitcoin</a> spot ETFs last Friday was $674 million. Among them, BlackRock IBIT inflow was $674 million, and the inflow and outflow of other ETFs were negligible. Last Friday, ETH ETF inflow was $20.1 million, of which BlackRock ETHA had a net inflow of $20.1 million, and other ETFs had no inflow and outflow data.

**Fidelity: Bitcoin could surpass gold's dominance at any time**

Fidelity recently hinted that Bitcoin may soon take over the baton from gold. Jurrien Timmer, global macro director of Fidelity Investments, recently published a detailed analysis of the dynamic relationship between Bitcoin and gold. He cited data from Fidelity Management and Research Company (FMR Co) and Bloomberg, analyzed the changing trends of the Sharpe ratio (a measure of risk-adjusted returns) of the two assets, and pointed out that their relative performance may be at a turning point.

The chart he shared shows that gold's recent return is $22.51, while Bitcoin's is $13.22, where gold's return is magnified by 4 times to reflect its lower volatility, while Bitcoin's return is not adjusted proportionally and remains at 1 times. His comment said, "It looks like this may be Bitcoin's leading moment, as its Sharpe ratio is currently -0.40, while gold is 1.33. Therefore, we may witness a baton handover from gold to Bitcoin."

**Trump reiterated support for cryptocurrencies**

Trump recently reiterated his support for cryptocurrencies, saying that crypto assets have been resilient during market downturns and are now widely accepted. He said that the United States must stay ahead in digital asset innovation, otherwise it will fall behind countries such as China.

Trump said in an interview on NBC News' "Meet the Press." "I think cryptocurrency is important because if we don't do it, China will do it," he said. "It's new and very popular and very hot." He added that cryptocurrencies have performed "much stronger than the rest of the market" during the market downturn.

**Michael Saylor may hint at increasing BTC holdings again**

Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy, once again released information about Bitcoin Tracker. He said, “Too much blue, not enough orange.” According to previous rules, Strategy always discloses information about increasing its holdings of Bitcoin the day after the relevant news is released.

U.S. stocks extended their multi-day rally on Friday, with the Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite all rising at least 1.4%. The S&P 500 closed higher for a ninth straight session, its longest winning streak since 2004 and recovering a sharp drop after President Trump announced broad trade restrictions in early April.

The news came after U.S. non-farm payrolls rose more than expected, suggesting the labor market remains resilient despite turmoil caused by the Trump administration's trade policies. Data showed that employment increased by 177,000 jobs last month after March's job growth was revised down to 185,000. Economists had forecast an increase of 138,000 jobs. Meanwhile, China said last week it was evaluating the possibility of trade talks with the United States, adding that any dialogue must be based on sincerity and the removal of unilateral tariffs.
