Ever since Elon took over Twitter, skeptics have been predicting the site's demise.
Last night, Twitter finally died, just not in the way they expected.
On Saturday night, Elon announced that Twitter would be phasing out its bird-themed branding and replacing it with the site's new name, X.
Then, he started a logo making competition.
About an hour later, he posted a short video using the logo of Tesla journalist Sawyer Merritt, who credits Alexandre Tourville for the original design.
